Horse camps are offered for youth ages 7 and older. The youth learn every aspect of horsemanship as well as riding. Each morning is spent grooming and riding horses. After lunch, youth are able to swim and then make crafts. The day ends with the youth helping to bring horses into the barn, and then feeding and watering the horses. Younger participants are paired with older/more experienced youth during their interaction with the horses. Items to bring are: water bottle, lunch, snacks, swim suit, towel, and possibly a change of clothes. Also, if possible, short riding boots with heels and riding helmet are helpful, but not required.
