Horse camps are offered for youth ages 7 and older. The youth learn every aspect of horsemanship as well as riding. Each morning is spent grooming and riding horses. After lunch, youth are able to swim (weather permitting) and then make crafts. The day ends with the youth helping to bring horses into the barn, and then feeding and watering the horses. Younger participants are paired with older/more experienced youth during their interaction with the horses. Items to bring are: HELMET, water bottle, lunch, snacks, swim suit, swim goggles, towel, and a change of clothes with comfortable shoes. Also, short riding boots with heels are helpful, but not required.
